Sustainability Champion

    This award is given to the association which has developed initiatives that attempt to address efforts to minimise environmental impacts and promote long-term sustainability either for their own operations or in the industries they represent. The judges will be looking for evidence of:

    • How you went about scoping and defining your approach and objectives
    • How you sought buy-in from your staff and members
    • How you communicated your measures to suppliers and stakeholders
    • What results did you measure and what metrics were employed
    • What ongoing engagement / communication was deployed to embed long-term change
    • Any other demonstrable positive impacts

    All fields are required

    In case of technical difficulties entrants are advised to save a version of their core entry in word prior to submitting their entry.

  • Entrants have a maximum of 1,000 words in which to convince the judges that they are worthy of winning this award. 3 files of supporting material of no more than 4 pages each can also be included. Video footage can be submitted but should be sent as a link within the main body of the entry and should be no more than 2 minutes in length.

    Suggestions as to what could be covered are listed below. 

    • Please give some background to the association including information on where you were before you started your sustainability efforts
    • Outline the approaches and techniques you used to inform your sustainability programme. How did you engage staff in your efforts? How was it communicated – internally & externally? Did you seek external expert help and how was this used to best effect.
    • How did you work with suppliers / partners to ensure your sustainability goals were achieved?
    • Show how your measures have positively impacted either your organisation, your industry, your community or in other ways
    • Outline your future goals and milestones and lessons learnt

  • Shortlisted Summary

  • In the event of your submission being shortlisted we will publish a 200 word summary of your submission on our website. Please write the summary below keeping in mind that any results or other sensitive information may end up in the public domain. Please also supply your company logo below. (Max 200 WORDS)

  • Please attach any relevant support material - testimonials, research, performance analysis, collateral, screen grabs, pictures etc.
    Entrants may attach up to 3 files of supporting material of no more than 4 pages each.
    Attached files must be no larger than 2 MB each, documents must be in .pdf or .doc (word) format, images must be in .jpg or .gif format.
    Movie/video footage
    If movie files exceed the 2MB allowance then please include a link to the video/movie hosted on a web page. Links to FTP sites will not be accepted.
